  7. A6 could remain closed until the afternoonpublished at 08:14 British Summer Time 27 May 2016

The A6 has been closed between the A507 and the old Main Road turning for Haynes Church End due to a fire at the Four Winds Industrial Estate.

We've spoken to Bedfordshire Police this morning - they've told us the road could stay closed until about midday, although they've also told us this was a local authority decision.

It goes without saying this is a major route into Luton and the south of Bedfordshire for commuters and it could also have an impact on traffic in Ampthill or Shefford as people try to avoid the closure.

We'll bring you more details on the fire as we get them, but you can get the latest travel updates from BBC Travel.
