Stevenage-based Flynn Pharma said the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) was "making a serious error" and that it would appeal in a bid to overturn the watchdog's findings in regard to the overcharging for an anti-epilepsy drug.

"It beggars belief that the CMA seeks to punish Flynn for selling phenytoin capsules at a significant discount to phenytoin tablets," David Fakes of Flynn Pharma said.

Flynn Pharma and Pfizer have between 30 days and four months to reduce the price to a level acceptable to the CMA, and two months to appeal against the CMA decision to the Competition Tribunal.

This is Hero-Diesel - and from today she's the new kennel mate of Finn - the now-famous police dog - stabbed trying to protect his handler from a suspected armed robber.

Finn is recovering well, but how's he going to deal with a new kid on the block?

Finn's dad PC Dave Wardell says his seasoned tracker dog is very happy to have this new 12-month-old German shepherd pup under his wing.

Hero-Diesel's come from Surrey Police's pup school and she has a lot to live up to.

She was named after Diesel, a Belgian shepherd police dog killed in the Paris anti-terror raids in November. Diesel's demise prompted an online "Je suis Chien" support movement.

He was hailed a "hero", and so... Hero-Diesel was named in his honour.

If she makes it through Christmas at PC Wardell's house - with Mrs Wardell, their three girls, Finn and police sniffer spaniel Pearl - Hero-Diesel will start cop-dog school in January.

In a statement, the company said: "Better access to data about vehicle fires could help all manufacturers with early detection of safety issues.
