Earlier we told you that Bucks and MK fire service were responding to a blaze at a flat in Aylesbury.

They now say it has been extinguished and one man is being cared for by the South Central Ambulance Service for breathing in smoke.

Hertfordshire Police were called to a St Albans restaurant on Saturday night following reports of a disturbance.

Officers were called to Wagamama's in St Christopher's Place amid reports of a fight between a man and three others at about 20:15.

Officers say they detained one man, before realising he was unwell.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is said to be in a stable condition.

Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing team have taken to social media to question the attentiveness of a motorist who, they say, claimed not to see their patrol vehicle when speeding at 90mph on the M1...

They added that their vehicle was "hardly inconspicuous"...

The BBC understands Ipswich Town, external are trying to sign Rangers forward Martyn Waghorn in time for tomorrow's Carabao Cup, external (aka League Cup) tie at Luton Town.
