An 11-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a water ride at Drayton Manor Theme Park, police say.
Staffordshire Police confirmed the girl was hurt after she fell from the Splash Canyon water ride at the Tamworth-based attraction.
· The ride opened in 1993
· It is described as a river rapids ride on circular boats
· It comprises 21 boats with a maximum capacity of six people per boat
· There is a height restriction. You must be taller than 90cms (2.9ft) to ride and anyone shorter than 1.1m (3.6ft) must be accompanied by an adult

The theme park near Tamworth opened in 1950. Then, it had one restaurant, a tea-room, three hand-operated rides and a set of second-hand dodgem cars.
The man who founded and owned Drayton Manor Park Theme Park, George Bryan, died in 2013, aged 92.
These days it's home to a 15-acre zoo and more than 40 rides and attractions.
There is also a four-star hotel on the site with a number of restaurants and 140 rooms.
The park has won a number of visitor attraction awards over the years and has also entertained celebrity guests.
West Midlands Ambulance Service says "more details will follow when available" about the ongoing situation at Drayton Manor.
A patient went into the water at the Tamworth attraction at around 14:18, prompting the closure of the Splash Canyon ride.

Supt Carl Ratcliffe, of Staffordshire Police, says the girl who has fallen into the water is from Leicester and she has been airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
Her parents have been informed, say police.

A second man has been arrested over the shooting of a man in the arm in Bartley Green.
The 18-year-old suspect from Erdington was arrested on Sunday when police were called to a separate knifepoint robbery and arrested three other people over separate allegations as well.
All four, aged between 14 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of stealing a people carrier, in which they are alleged to have driven off with a stolen push bike, possessing a knife and robbery,
The 18-year-old from Erdington was also wanted in connection with the 30 April shooting.

Fire crews, paramedics and an air ambulance have been called to a Staffordshire theme park following "an incident".
The park says the incident centres around its ride Splash Canyon, which has been closed.
West Midlands Ambulance Service say it was called to reports of a person in the water at 14:18.

A man who sold fake Ugg boots at £50 a time denied to police he told customers they were the real deal as that would "insult their intelligence", the West Midlands force says.
One hundred pairs of boots, according to police, were seized from Scott Sutton's store in Birmingham's Pavillions shopping centre - and £7,000 in cash recovered from his car.
With "brazen fraud", he conned shoppers by opening a store on Christmas Eve 2014 selling genuine-looking boxes, Ugg signage in the store window, plus labels saying "Ugg" stitched in the footwear. Ugg’s brand protection and legal advisors confirmed the boots weren’t legitimate.
Sutton, 49, formerly of Newfield Road, Hagley, who admitted trademark violations, was fined £5,000 at Birmingham Crown Court last Tuesday.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of a man stabbed during a fight.
The 23-year-old suspect was arrested from a property in Davey Road, Aston, Birmingham, after the stabbing on the Broadway, Perry Barr, at around 01:00 BST on Monday.
The injured man remains in hospital with a chest injury in a serious but stable condition, police say.
