    A professional dancer from the BBC series Strictly Come Dancing says it's an "incredible experience" to be paired with funny man Brian Conley.

    Amy Dowden, who runs a dance school in Dudley, external, says she's being "hard but fair" on the comedian, who danced the tango on Saturday.

  4. Husband and wife dead in 'murder-suicide'published at 10:01 British Summer Time 26 September 2017

    The bodies of a husband and wife have been found at separate addresses after what police suspect to be a murder-suicide.

    Police were directed by ambulance workers to a property in Linforth Drive, Streetly, just after midnight when the body of man in his 30s was discovered.

    About 40 minutes later, the body of a woman - also in her 30s - was found at an address at Cofton Park Close, Rednal, Birmingham.

    Both sites have been cordoned off. Detectives say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

    A police statement said: "At this early stage it’s understood the woman was murdered before the man took his own life."
