A woman who was evacuated from her Wolverhampton tower block overnight says the "corridor was like a river".
Christine Endean says residents from the 15-floor tower block were asked to leave after the water tank on the top floor burst.
The fire service said about 80 people were moved from St Joseph's Court due to water leaking into the power main.
Ms Endean, who's 53, says she saw workmen and firemen near the entrance just after midnight last night "after hearing a crackle on the intercom" but went back to bed.
She was woken up by a firefighter knocking on her door at about 02:30 asking her to leave the property, which is when she saw the flooded corridors.
Residents were taken to two places to shelter in the middle of the night, including Merry Hill Housing office.
Ms Endean says she's been told the power has been turned off and is unsure when she'll be able to return to her property.

CCTV footage of a man being attacked, external by two robbers who want him to give them his car keys has been released by police.
Despite the 43-year-old man being beaten with metal poles, hit over the head and pushed to the floor on Tilesford Road in Shirley on Friday afternoon, the robbers failed to get the keys to his BMW M4.
Officers believe the attack is linked to an earlier robbery attempt that day involving a Mercedes, where a man was set-upon at Costa Coffee in Friars Gate, Shirley.
Police want to track down a blue VW Gold with the registration plate BD57 ULH which is thought to be using stolen plates.
A Kenilworth chef will be showing off his skills alongside one half of the Hairy Bikers, Dave Myers, at the Solihull Food Festival this weekend.

Staffordshire's Rebecca Smith will begin life as a student this weekend - the first person in her family to go to university.
She'll be starting at Cambridge - and will be part of an intake that has the highest proportion of state school students for 35 years.
Cambridge's latest admissions figures, shown to the BBC, will reveal that more than 63% of new students are state-educated - the highest since at least 1982.
The 18-year-old, from Cannock in Staffordshire, says she hadn't really thought about going to Cambridge until she began volunteering at an art gallery and met someone who had studied there.

A High Court judge has approved a £37m compensation plan for hundreds of victims of Ian Paterson, the disgraced breast surgeon.
In August, he had his 15-year jail term increased to 20 years after the Appeal Court ruled his term was too lenient.
Private healthcare firm Spire agreed to pay £27.2m, with £10m coming from Paterson's insurers and the Heart of England NHS Trust earlier this month.
Paterson was found guilty of 17 counts of wounding with intent in April.

Motorcycle thefts in the West Midlands have risen by more than half in the first six months of this year, according to the Motorcycle Action Group.
The number of bikes stolen between January and June increased by 51% compared to same period in 2016.
Riders are being warned the rise could be due to vehicles being stolen to carry out crime.
In the last three years 400 robberies by riders were recorded.
Police are continuing in an investigation into the deaths of a married couple believed to be a "suicide-murder".
The couple are James and Amy Barnes, the BBC understands.
Officers believe the husband killed himself after murdering his wife, Amy, 20 miles away.
James updated his Facebook profile photo with a photo from their wedding day only hours before their bodies were discovered.
The body of Mr Barnes was found in the garden of what's thought to be his parents' home in Linforth Drive in Streetly (pictured) by emergency services at about midnight on Monday.
About 40 minutes later, his wife's body was discovered in Rednal.

A 15-storey block of flats in Wolverhampton has been evacuated overnight after a 4in (10cm) water main burst.
West Midlands Fire Service said about 79 people were moved from the flats as water leaked into the power main.
The service said it was called at 23:44 to St Joseph's Court in Wolverhampton.
Western Power also attended to isolate the power supply and the fire service dealt with the "severe flooding".
The City of Wolverhampton Council said, external the Bradmore Community Centre is available to people affected by the flooding.
