    A railway footpath in Walsall where a teenager died yesterday afternoon after she was hit by a train has been closed.

    Network Rail staff, British Transport Police officers and the Railway Inspectorate are on site after the 14-year-old girl was hit by a passing train.

    Police say they believe the girl is thought to have crossed the track after waiting for a freight train to pass but was then hit by another train approaching in the opposite direction.

    The gates leading onto the foot crossing have been locked closed.

    A 10-year-old Walsall girl has reached over five million people with a hard-hitting video about her battle with cancer.

    It's called "the C word, external" - Isabella needs to fund a £200,000 trip to America for life-saving treatment that isn't available in the UK.

    A 14-year-old girl has died after being hit by a train at level crossing in what's believed to have been "a tragic accident".

    British Transport Police say the girl was struck by a train at Wallows Lane foot crossing near to Bescot Stadium station.
