    Three players will make their debuts for Worcester Warriors in tomorrow night's Anglo Welsh Cup match against Sale Sharks at Sixways.

    American flanker Andrew Durutalo (pictured below), hooker Beck Cutting and number eight Tom Dodd will all make their first appearances, while prop Nick Schonert will return after injury.

    Darren Barry is set to make his first start of the season in the second row and Bryce Heem is back in the first-team fray after injury. He will start at full-back.

    Michael Dowsett and Max Stelling will also make their first starts of the campaign and there are a number of young players on the bench, including Nick Rigby and Ted Hill.

    Academy centre Will Butler will captain the side.

    A medical tribunal has ruled that a doctor at RAF Cosford was guilty of serious misconduct, because she formed an emotional relationship with a patient.

    The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service heard Dr Julien Nash exchanged kisses and text messages with a male patient and was seen together with him, breaching the rules for doctors.

    She admitted the facts of the case, but said she asked the patient to transfer to another doctor after they kissed, and had undertaken professional training on professional boundaries.

    However, the hearing was told that she often still had to treat the patient as a duty doctor at the base's medical practice.

    The tribunal's still to decide what punishment Dr Julien Nash should face.

    An attempt to buy a north Shropshire pub for the community appears to have failed.

    Supporters of the bid have been sent an email saying the group has been unable to agree a price with the current owners of the Railway Inn at Yorton.

    The steering group says it would have been irresponsible to pay more than what they consider the market value, and that it has now decided to disband.

    The idea that Theresa May had been forced to make Gavin Williamson the defence secretary to shore up her "weak" position was "strictly for the birds", Tory MP Nadhim Zahawi has said.

    The Conservative MP for Stratford-on-Avon said the prime minister had shown "real strength" in appointing Mr Williamson, who he described as a "hugely talented" minister who would effectively "champion the cause of the Ministry of Defence".

    Hitting back at criticism that Mr Williamson lacked military experience, he pointed out that his predecessor as defence secretary Sir Michael Fallon "didn't have a defence background" when he was given the job.

    Gavin Williamson has been MP for South Staffordshire since 2010.

    The FA Cup match between Hereford FC and AFC Telford United on Saturday will be a sell-out with more than 4,000 fans expected at Edgar Street.

    Telford are bringing over 700 supporters to the first round game.

    It will be a record crowd for Hereford, since they reformed in 2014 from the ashes of the old Hereford United.

    Lichfield MP Michael Fabricant says claims he was involved in inappropriate behaviour with a male reporter in a taxi are "most unfair".

    He said he couldn't think what the allegations could refer to and couldn't even remember being in the back of a taxi with a male reporter.

    And he said he was in favour of strong safeguards in parliament, to protect vulnerable young researchers and other staff.

    Pershore is to get a new northern link road, and see two road junctions upgraded by 2020.

    Worcestershire County Council has approved £11.6m of transport improvements, which many in the town have been calling for since the 1980s.

    A new link road will connect the Keytec business park with the A44, as well as planned housing.

    Construction will start next autumn.

    Two long-lost Tony Hancock radio scripts from the 1950s receive their belated premiere in Wolverhampton this weekend.

    Back in 1952 West Bromwich-born comedy writer Larry Stephens convinced the BBC to let him create a new comedy series expressly for his friend, rising radio star Tony Hancock - then best known as a supporting player.

    Vacant Lot was never recorded, and the scripts lay buried in the BBC archives for over 60 years.

    The Conservative MP for Lichfield, Michael Fabricant, says he thinks the party will survive the loss of the defence secretary Michael Fallon, who resigned in the wake of the sexual misconduct allegations.

    He accepted "no Prime Minister likes to have a reshuffle when reshuffles haven't been planned by that Prime Minister long in advance", but that they could "get over it".

    South Staffordshire MP Gavin Williamson has been named as the new defence secretary.

    Mr Fabricant has himself been linked with "inappropriate behaviour" with a male journalist in the past, but said he couldn't recall the incident being referred to.

    South Staffordshire MP Gavin Williamson is perhaps best known in Westminster for his pet tarantula, Cronus.

    The spider went with him to the chief whip's office and has been sitting on his desk, in a glass box, even though MPs are not encouraged to take their pets to work.

    It's not known if Cronus, who he described to the Daily Telegraph, external as a "perfect example of an incredibly clean, ruthless killer" will move with Mr Williamson to the Ministry of Defence.

    Police are appealing again for help in finding a 16-year-old student from Lincolnshire who's been missing from her home since last week.

    She has links to Peterborough, Birmingham and Bexley in London.

    Crewe Alexandra's manager David Artell says there is no question of him fielding a weakened side against Rotherham in the FA Cup on Saturday.

    He was asked if he might rest some key players, to keep them fresh for the league, but he responded by saying he would pick his best team and that "you've got to earn the right to play".

    Five companies have been shortlisted to build the first generation of trains for the high speed rail link, HS2.

    The bidders are Alstom Transport, Bombardier Transportation UK, Hitachi Rail Europe, Patentes Talgo and Siemens, who will all now be invited to lodge detailed tenders next year.

    Rail minister Paul Maynard said the £2.75bn contract will create "thousands of skilled British jobs and apprenticeships".

    The successful bidder will also maintain the fleet from the dedicated rolling stock depot planned for Washwood Heath in Birmingham.

    The new defence secretary, Gavin Williamson, has been the South Staffordshire MP since 2010 and was returned with a 22,733 majority in June's general election.

    The 41-year-old, who is originally from North Yorkshire, was appointed chief whip in July, after previously serving as David Cameron's parliamentary private secretary.
