People living near a phone box, which a local MP claims is used for drug dealing in Stoke-on-Trent, have told BBC Radio Stoke that they don't believe improving CCTV coverage is enough to stop the problem.

Earlier this month, the Labour MP for Stoke North, Ruth Smeeth, told the House of Commons that the synthetic drug Black Mamba is being sold from the booth on Portland Street, Hanley.

BT yesterday agreed to rotate the box so it'll face CCTV cameras but says it can't remove it because it's used to make genuine calls including for 999 emergencies.

Staffordshire Police say they're listening to the concerns of local residents and are working to tackle anti-social behaviour, disorder and drugs misuse.

Their families fundraised £40,000 to pay for the judicial review and lawyers KRW say this latest decision will put more financial strain on them.
