    CCTV images of a man police would like to speak to in connection with the assault, in Birmingham city centre, have been released.

    The attack happened at about 06:00 on 22 February.

    A charity's offered to pay back a woman charged for items she broke when she was having an epileptic seizure in one of their shops.

    Sandra Kirkham says she was told to pay £17 for smashed crockery at the Mencap store in Congleton on Monday.

    The 72-year-old had fallen into one of the display cases while having a seizure.

    Mencap says she should "absolutely not" have been asked to pay for damages and they've apologised, offering to pay her back in full and inviting her back to "choose an item of their choice from the shop".

    People living in part of Stoke-on-Trent have told BBC Radio Stoke it's taken the city council three weeks to clear a pile of fly-tipping.

    The rubbish, including tyres and mattresses, appeared on a public footpath by Fenton cemetery.

    Residents took to the Facebook page "Our Fenton, external" to complain about the mess, branding it "disgusting, external" and saying the area's "becoming a big tip, external".

    The city council says it relies on residents to report fly-tipping and it cleared the incident after it was reported on Sunday.

    He replaces Jordan Pickford, who started in goal in the 1-0 win against the Netherlands on Friday.

    Butland, 25, became England's youngest senior goalkeeper when he made his debut - also against Italy - at the age of 19 years and 158 days in 2012.

    But he fractured his ankle against Germany and missed Euro 2016, spending more than a year on the sidelines, which has limited his England appearances to six to date.

    The team leading an inquiry into a disgraced breast surgeon who botched hundreds of operations, has met more than 150 patients and their families.

    Ian Paterson, 59, was convicted of multiple charges of wounding with intent and had his jail term increased to 20 years by the Court of Appeal.

    Now, the terms of reference of the independent inquiry , externalfollowing his conviction have been published.

    Inquiry chairman, the Bishop of Norwich, the Right Reverend Graham James, said: 'The interests of all patients, whether they are treated in the NHS or the private sector, should be at the heart of this inquiry.

    The Iron Bridge has been all wrapped up since before Christmas.

    Now a walkway is being opened up to show visitors what's going on underneath all that scaffolding and tarpaulin.

    The £3.6m conservation project, external is English Heritage's largest since becoming independent of government and is due to take another year to finish.

    Completed in 1779 over the River Severn, the Iron Bridge was the first single span bridge in the world to be made of cast iron.

    A man who made threats using an imitation firearm at a cafe has been jailed.

    Matthew Hoare, 45, of Church Hill, Coleshill, admitted pointing the firearm at a man who'd asked him to leave the cafe in the town in January.

    He pleaded guilty to possession of an imitation firearm with intent to case fear of violence, and sentenced at Warwickshire Crown Court to two years and 11 months.

    Det Sgt Carl Buckley said: "This was a terrifying incident for everyone in the cafe at the time. They wouldn't have known that the firearm wasn't real or what Hoare's intentions were."

    The government yesterday announced an extra £100m is being shared among councils in England to fund repairs to roads damaged by recent storms.

    Business Secretary Greg Clark has written to Melrose demanding "binding" commitments from the turnaround specialist over its £8.1bn bid for GKN.

    Redditch-based GKN is one of the UK's largest industrial firms, employing more than 59,000 people globally - 6,000 of them in the UK.

    Mr Clark sought "extensive and clear" measures over GKN's workforce, research and development, and pension schemes.

    He also raised concerns over national security given GKN's role in supplying the UK armed forces.

    In response, Melrose set out a number of pledges, including not selling GKN's Aerospace Division for five years.
