People will be able to park for longer on the streets in the historic centre of Hereford but they'll have to pay for it.
Herefordshire Council is changing the on-street parking scheme so people can choose to pay £3 to stay for two hours.
Current charges of 50p for half-an-hour and £1 for an hour will remain.
The council says the changes are after months of speaking to businesses, visitors and residents and will take effect from 10 September., external

The company that's bought the Ironbridge power station site says it wants to create 20 wildlife ponds, to provide a home for the protected great crested newts that live there.
The Harworth Group expects to submit detailed plans for the 350-acre site next year, which will include demolishing the pink cooling towers.
They're likely to also include several hundred homes, as well as commercial and leisure facilities.
Great crested newts, their eggs, breeding sites and resting places, are protected by law and anyone causing them harm can face an unlimited fine and up to six months in prison if found guilty.
