The manager of The New Saints (TNS) says he's proud of his players, despite their exit from European competition this season after a 3-1 defeat at FC Midtjylland.
Midtjylland held a 2-0 lead from the first leg in Cardiff and scored twice in the second half to win the tie.
It was disappointing for TNS as they held the hosts in the first half and missed a good chance to take the lead.
Quote MessageOver these last two legs we've competed really well against an excellent European side. In the first half we matched them and had chances ourselves. Towards the end, it was a fair reflection. Over two legs we've done ok and done what was expected of us."
