The mother of a young Stoke City fan says he's been put off going to away games in the future after claiming he was among fans of the club who were pepper sprayed by police.
Lancashire Police has said it'll investigate the claims that the incident happened during half-time at Preston North End on Saturday.
A video on social media appears to show police officers facing a group of supporters in the concourse at Deepdale before spraying them.
Alfie Spain, 12, from Kidsgrove, told BBC Radio Stoke he was coming back from the toilet to rejoin his dad when it happened and his throat and eyes were left stinging.
Quote MessageHe just doesn't want to go to away matches, he's absolutely terrified. I've gone from having this bubbly 12-year-old who loves football to this boy that doesn't want to go to away matches."

A squatter's cottage near Ludlow has been added to a national heritage list for buildings of historical interest.
The Birches in Cleeton St Mary, dates back to the late 18th Century and is now Grade II listed.
Historic England says it's worth protecting because it's an "increasingly rare representation of a very humble, simple form of accommodation which was once common in rural areas".
An animal shelter was built on to the original structure, housing livestock alongside the owner.
The building is made from painted rubble stone and was converted for domestic use in the 20th Century (complete with satellite dish).

A woman whose brother died in the Hillsborough disaster says she feels "let down" by the justice system.
Louise Brookes, from Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, has spoken to the BBC after all charges were dropped against a former chief inspector accused of trying to blame Liverpool fans for the 1989 tragedy.
Sir Norman Bettison, then of South Yorkshire Police, had faced four counts of misconduct in a public office but prosecutors said insufficient evidence meant there was no real prospect of securing a conviction.
Sir Norman said after the decision that he had always denied that he was guilty of any wrongdoing, saying his involvement in Hillsborough "has often been misrepresented".
Andrew Brookes was a car worker from Bromsgrove and his sister says she can't give up fighting for justice for him.
Quote MessageI think, because I don't have any family alive, it isn't just a duty I have to Andrew, it's a duty to my parents. It was my dad's dying wish that I would never give up so I just have to keep going along."

The mother of a prisoner at Birmingham Prison says her son chose to move to a more secure sex offenders wing for his own safety.
Conditions have been deemed so bad that on Monday the government assumed control of the prison from private security firm G4S.
A damning inspection found squalid conditions and reports that inmates and staff fear for their safety.
G4S said it welcomed the development as an opportunity to "urgently address" the problems.
Quote MessageHe's put himself on P Wing, which is for paedophiles and sex offenders and things like that but he hasn't done nothing wrong, he's a normal prisoner but he's put himself there for safety reasons."

Historic England has awarded a 1930s airport building Grade II listed status.
The Elmdon terminal at Birmingham Airport opened in 1939 and closed to passengers in 1984 during a decade in which Concorde was welcomed.
It is among several buildings on Wednesday to help take the National Heritage List for England to 400,000 entries.
Historic England said the terminal was recognised for a "playful" design intended "to be an experience for passengers and spectators alike".

Walsall manager Dean Keates says he has players "chomping at the bit to get in the team".
They've picked up two wins and a draw from their opening league fixtures this season and will try to stretch their unbeaten run to five games in all competitions tonight.
Keates challenged the players who weren't in the match-day squad against Wimbledon to "be ready" and told those named on the substitutes bench to "put yourselves about and enjoy it" if they got on.
