    Three people have appeared in court after being charged with being members of banned far-right group National Action.

    Garry Jack, 22, and Daniel Ward, 28, both from Birmingham, and a 17-year-old boy from Nottingham, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court.

    It's alleged the three were members of the group between December 2016, after it had been outlawed under terrorism legislation, until September of last year.

    None of the three indicated a plea and the case has been sent to the Old Bailey for trial.

    An ambulance service has raised concerns after five patients waited in ambulances outside the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for up to three hours last Monday,

    They then had to be transferred to other hospitals.

    The emergency department at Worcestershire Royal has been struggling for several years but the ambulance service says it's getting worse.

    West Midlands Ambulance Service has now informed the National Director of Emergency Care about the issues.

    The Worcestershire Acute Trust says it faces continuing pressure on beds and, despite its best efforts, patients are waiting longer than it would like.

    Ninety jobs are being created in Coventry at a factory to make batteries for the next generation of hybrid and electric vehicles, at the "UK's largest independent vehicle battery manufacturer".

    The factory will be operated by a joint venture, called Hyperbat, a collaboration between Williams Advanced Engineering and Unipart Manufacturing Group.

    The facility, on Beresford Avenue in the city, should start production next year in collaboration with Coventry University and Aston Martin.

    The first order is a limited production run for Aston Martin's Rapide E, the company said.

    The Warwickshire-based company will build its new Lagonda car at the Vale of Glamorgan site.

    The Gaydon firm is already creating a significant presence at the former Ministry of Defence base, with its plant set to bring 750 jobs.

    A tag end of a wrap of drugs poking from his bottom was found during a search, police said.

    Overall, heroin and crack cocaine worth around £1,000, was found.

    The 24-year-old from Sandhill Farm Close, Ladywood, Birmingham, was found guilty at Stafford Crown Court of possession with intent to supply the Class A drugs.

    Four months on since devastating floods hit parts of Birmingham, a report has confirmed the city needs a much better emergency reponse to flooding.
