The horse fair at Thickthorn in Kenilworth has been scrapped with the council saying there had been "many years of problems".
After a meeting with police and landowners it had been agreed that the event held on 29 and 30 September was the last, a statement said.
The travellers event has been held there three times a year since 2001.
Warwick District Council leader Andrew Mobbs said: “After many years of problems relating to the Horse Fair, I am pleased for the people of Kenilworth that our recent efforts supported by the police have led to the agreement that this event will no longer take place."
