A man's died in a crash involving two cars.
Cheshire Police says he was a passenger in one of the vehicles when they collided at around 02:15 today on Congleton Road, Arclid, near Sandbach.
He suffered fatal injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
Officers say three other people, a man and two women, were also hurt and are being treated in hospital.

One in seven parents admit driving children in their care without them being correctly strapped in, a new survey suggests.
A 45-minute police operation outside a primary school in Birmingham last week recorded 51 offences involving children unsecured in vehicles, said the report commissioned by Co-op Insurance.
Children must normally use a child car seat until they are 12 years old or 1.35 metres tall and parents can be fined up to £500 for driving a child without having a seat belt or child seat in place.

A man's suffered life-changing injuries after being attacked with a hammer, external, police say.
The victim, in his mid-30s, was assaulted yesterday afternoon at the junction of Clark Street and Bell Green Road, Coventry.
Police said he was also kicked as he fell to the ground.

People in Shrewsbury are being urged to take and tweet pictures of salmon at the town's weir as they begin their annual run to spawning sites up river.

The Environment Agency says the autumn run's started and the fish are either leaping over the weir or using the fish pass at the site to get by the obstacle. , external
However, the agency says it wants to see as many pictures on Twitter of the salmon leaping there as they say the species is in decline due to issues like climate change.

The death of a woman in Staffordshire at the weekend is no longer being treated as suspicious., external
Police say they were called to Moorland Road, Biddulph, on Sunday afternoon to find the 40-year-old in a critical condition and she later died.
This afternoon, they confirmed they're not treating it as suspicious and a post-mortem examination will be held soon to find out exactly why she died.

More than £5,000 has been raised for a 10-year-old boy after bullies ripped out and stamped on his hearing aids.
The child was chased and pushed over by a group of six older boys in Walsall, West Midlands who destroyed the devices, police said.
Michelle Mansell from Bromsgrove started a Just Giving page after reading the "awful" story last month.
She said some donations had been made from people as far away as Israel, New Zealand and Canada.
"This is how it should be," she said.
"It's a load of strangers coming together, helping somebody out that nobody has met."
The boy has obtained new hearing aids via Birmingham Children's Hospital, but Steve Hale a Sutton Coldfield-based audiologist says he has also contacted the family and offered his services free of charge.
