An outdoor pool in Kenilworth could be demolished to make way for a new indoor one, under plans from the local council.
Warwick District Council is proposing to revamp the facilities at Abbey Fields leisure centre - including building a new pool with the potential for it to be opened up in the summer months to give direct access to an outside terrace.
It could also incorporate a number of water features aimed at younger children, it said.
At a meeting on 9 January councillors will also be asked to approve proposals for a new leisure centre at Castle Farm with a new sports hall, gym and studios.

Roads around a junction of the M6 in Staffordshire are set to be redeveloped as part of the plans for the HS2 high-speed rail line.
In a meeting with Newcastle under Lyme councillors this month, HS2 Ltd said it planned to widen Newcastle Road around Hanchurch to try and ease congestion at J15.
It also plans to have a junction on the M6 near Yarnfield for its construction traffic, but told the authority it won't be open to public traffic.
HS2 Ltd is due to submit proposals for the changes in February.

Shrewsbury Town manager Sam Ricketts says he hasn't ruled out bringing former club favourite Dave Edwards back to the club.
After leaving, Edwards went on to play for Luton and then Wolves as well as Wales, and is now at Reading.
He's been linked with a return to Shrewsbury and was a key factor in Ricketts coming to the Meadow, but the new boss says money is the big factor.
Quote MessageThere'd always be a chance because he's from the area, but where he is, he's playing for a Championship club, he's a very good player, great professional, he wouldn't be short of offers if he was to leave. Edwards is well out of our price range so that would be a big stumbling block."
