When 12-year-old Matthew Carter from Birmingham saw how much sugar was in his favourite fizzy drink, he changed things.

Two years ago, for each of his family, he spooned their daily sugar allowance into separate bowls every day and, each time they ate, they spooned back that amount of sugar out of their bowl.

His mother Claire told the BBC they all saw changes in their behaviour and lost weight and it has had a lasting effect on the family.
