Last year's warm summer has had an early impact on pollen levels.
Some hayfever sufferers have already had to deal with symptoms, which is earlier than normal.
Scientists at the University of Worcester are responsible for the pollen forecast and say the recent weather has also made a difference.
Quote MessageI think it's moderately bad shall we say. It's not going to be the worst we've ever had... We were expecting a fairly moderate year, but then of course we had fantastic weather in February, which is very good for birch trees to produce lots of pollen."

The New Saints have a four-point lead at the top of the Welsh Premier League going into the final four days of the season, but they also have a massive goal advantage lead over their nearest rival, Connah's Quay Nomads.
Last night's 7-0 win over Bala Town saw them increase it to 70 and puts them within reach of their own record of 75 in the Welsh Premier League.
The team with the next highest goal difference is Connah's Quay with 42, so they're unlikely to be overtaken and they hold the advantage if the two sides finish level on points.

Shrewsbury Town could be without midfielder Ollie Norburn for Saturday's home game against relegation rivals Scunthorpe.
He hasn't been able to train for most of the week after picking up an achilles injury and is one of a number of players the manager Sam Ricketts says have "niggles" at the moment.
Ricketts also says he's had to hold Norburn back because "his character is that he will play through anything for the team".

The cricket season gets under way tomorrow, but it didn't feel like it at Edgbaston this morning as Warwickshire's annual press call took place in freezing rain.
Warwickshire and Worcestershire don't play in the first round of County Championship fixtures tomorrow as they take on university sides.
Quote MessageIt's not been kind to us today for (the) photo call, but we have been really lucky this part of the season to be able to get some good games in, once we got back from Abu Dhabi and our pre-season trip. So yeah we're happy with what we've been able to do so far, (there's the) game tomorrow against Leeds/Bradford uni and hopefully the weather will change overnight."
