  7. Will all-English European finals benefit Wolves?published at 11:11 British Summer Time 10 May 2019

    BBC Sport

The Champions League and Europa League finals will be contested by four English teams - so what does that mean for Wolves' chances of playing in Europe next season?

The winners of the two European competitions are awarded places in next season's Champions League, and all four of those teams all above Wolves in the Premier League.

And regardless of what happens on the final day of the season, we know Wolves will finish seventh, but that doesn't affect Wolves chances of qualifying for Europe.

The European competition places will go to the top-six in the Premier League and any extra Champions League places would go to teams from Austria or France.

That means Wolves chances of playing in the Europa League next season remain in the hands Manchester City.

They've already qualified for the Champions League, so if they win the FA Cup then their Europa League place will go to seventh-place Wolves.

If Watford win then they take the Europa League spot instead.
