Det Insp Liz Warner, who leaders on domestic abuse for the force, tweeted , externalthat it was "no different" to seeing a "neighbour's car being broken into" and said it should be reported to police.

An augmented reality road safety app, which layers virtual objects over real world settings, is to be tested by children in Warwickshire for the first time.
Pupils from Westgate Primary School in Warwick will be testing the Arility app on Wednesday 26 June, ahead of its national roll-out in July.
Children can interact with augmented reality characters to identify risks and learn to make safe choices.
The resource will be made available to all Road Safety GB member schools in Warwickshire from September, said the county council.

The health secretary's going to take a closer look at plans to reorganise Shropshire's hospital services.
The Future Fit plan would see Shrewsbury house the county's main emergency care centre and Telford's A&E downgraded to an urgent care centre.
Telford & Wrekin Council had said the plan would be detrimental to its residents and wanted Health Secretary Matt Hancock to step in.
After it made that official request, he asked an advisory body, the Independent Reconfiguration Panel (IRP), to assess the decision.
Today the IRP confirmed it had now been told to take a closer look at the proposals and will visit the county next month to interview people involved, before the health secretary makes a final decision.

A man's been found not guilty of murder following a fatal shooting in Coventry.
Addison Packeer, 27, was found with serious head injuries at an address in Chepstow Close, Willenhall, in December.
At Warwick Crown Court today, Jordan Bassett, 25, of Tintagel Close, Willenhall, Coventry, was found not guilty of murder, but had previously admitted manslaughter.
He had also admitted possession of a firearm and was found guilty of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Bassett will be sentenced on Wednesday.

A nurse forced to temporarily halt her challenge to swim the River Severn is facing a battle against time to finish it as she's in hospital after "swallowing sewage".
It's not the first time Melissa Compton, an intensive care nurse at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, has had to halt her effort to swim the 220-miles of the watercourse.
The 39-year-old stopped when floods earlier this month made the river dangerous and now she's told the BBC she's "sick and dehydrated" in hospital in Gloucester.
Ms Compton said doctors won't release her until she can eat and drink normally although she is feeling better than yesterday.
She's just 20 miles short of her finish at Severn Beach but has just days left to complete the journey as she's due back at work on Monday.
Earlier, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust tweeted its support, external and sent its best wishes.
