    Drivers are being warned to expect disruption in part of Birmingham this morning as campaign group Extinction Rebellion is planning to protest on a main road.

    The city council's said activists planned to demonstrate on the A38 Bristol Road near McDonald's, at the junction with Lee Bank/Belgrave Middleway, from 07:00 to 10:00. , external

    The group describes itself as a "non-violent civil disobedience activist movement".

    It wants governments to declare a "climate and ecological emergency" and take immediate action to address climate change.

    Fire crews have been saying goodbye to one of their fire engines, as it is being decommissioned on Wednesday.
