    Coventry City Football Club say they're still waiting for an update on when tickets for this weekend's game at Bolton will go on sale.

    Bolton Wanderers, who are in administration, were due to put tickets on sale from 09:00 on Wednesday, but these were subsequently put on hold without any explanation.

    Saturday's fixture is the first game Bolton will host since April, after their final home game of last season against Brentford was called off.

    In a statement, the Sky Blues said: "We remain in regular contact with Bolton Wanderers and the EFL regarding Saturday.

    "While there unfortunately remains no ticket update currently, we have been assured by Bolton that the game will go ahead."

    They were called just after 16:30 to Rolls Avenue, in Crewe, and said the three-storey building was being evacuated.

    The fire's in the roof space and, by 17:35, had burst through.

    Trains between Birmingham New Street and London Euston are facing major disruption after a power and signal failure in the capital.

    It also affects services through Coventry and Leamington Spa.

    Network Rail said power had now been restored, but there was still "significant disruption" while trains get back to normal.

    Passengers described a scene of chaos as thousands of travellers packed the concourse.

    Former Stoke City manager Lou Macari says he hopes donating £24,000 to the Stoke-on-Trent food bank will make a difference to families in the city.

    He made the donation, via his Macari Foundation, which helps homeless people, after hearing a talk about the work the charity does.

    Parents whose babies' ashes were lost at a Shropshire crematorium are calling on a council to end a deadlock over the final design of a memorial to their children.

    A BBC investigation found 60 families did not have their children's ashes returned after cremations at Shrewsbury's Emstrey Crematorium between 1996 and 2012.

    Shropshire Council said it would pay for a memorial in The Dingle, within Shrewsbury's Quarry park, but its original design was rejected by parents who've now said the process had stalled.

    The local authority said it working hard with the families involved and asked that the conversations were allowed to continue, to provide a memorial to everyone’s satisfaction.

    Earlier we bought you the news that a Coventry cat who helped a teenager cope with the death of his father picked up an award for being the best Furrever Friend.

    At the awards in London Jeffree has also been named overall Cat of the Year at the National Cat Awards.

    Jeffree was crowned the winner of the Furrever Friends category at The Cats Protection's National Cat Awards 2019.

    Finn, from Coventry, lost his father to cancer just weeks after his diagnosis. The 13-year-old, who has Asperger syndrome, became increasingly withdrawn, his mother Gayle said.

    But within an hour of meeting eight-year-old stray Jeffree "the change in Finn's outlook was remarkable", she said.

    The pair formed a close bond, helping Finn cope with his loss and giving him a purpose in life.
