    Concerns have been raised about the planned closure of three GP surgeries across Telford.

    Telford and Wrekin councillor, Derek White said patients who aren't able to drive may find it difficult to go to alternative sites when the Aqueduct surgery, Highfield clinic and Lightmoor health centre close.

    The closures are being proposed by the Teldoc group, which currently includes nine GP practices across Telford.

    It says some of the practices aren't heavily used and it plans to free up rooms in the remaining surgeries by moving some office work to a call centre.

    A Wolves fan who made the 6,000 mile trip to watch the team play in Armenia said the thank you letter he received from captain Conor Coady was "a nice touch".

    Brian Jones from Nottingham (below, right), was one of just 48 supporters to travel to watch the Europa League game against Pyunik. Each one got a letter sent personally by Coady.

    Mr Jones, who is 60, has watched Wolves since 1969, said it was "a bit of a surprise" and added "I don't think too many football supporters have a letter from the captain".

    But he said it was "not unusual" for Coady to applaud fans after a match and that he thought he had "a real affinity with supporters".

    People living in north Warwickshire will be allowed to put all their paper, plastics and glass in the same bin from November, without the need to separate them.

    The borough council currently supplies homes with inserts for their bins, to keep the rubbish apart, but says the sorting facilities can do the separating themselves now.

    The move is expected to save the authority £11,000 it spends on replacing lost or broken inserts.
