    A man's been stabbed after police said he was attacked on a bridge during an attempted robbery.

    The 18-year-old was found with stab wounds to his back and abdomen on Norman Road, Smethwick, yesterday afternoon.

    He's now in hospital in a stable condition and officers have seized a car for analysis.

    A boat made almost entirely of plastic's been given to a wildlife trust , externalso it can tackle plastic pollution on a city's waterways.

    The Poly Roger vessel was created by the environmental charity Hubbub and visited Birmingham in June, culminating in a community action day.

    It's now decided to give the boat to the Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust, external so it can use it to teach children and other groups about plastic pollution.

    A hedgehog rescue centre's had to temporarily shut because it's being overwhelmed with call-outs this summer.

    The Willows Hedgehog Rescue in Bromsgrove says it had to make the move as it only has so much space for new arrivals.

    The recent warm weather is partly to blame as hogs are having more than one litter.

    A large fire on an industrial estate in Malvern is being treated as a possible arson attack.

    Firefighters were called to the derelict building on the Qinetiq site on St Andrews Road , externaland a huge plume of smoke could be seen from several miles away.

    Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said the building had been destroyed by the blaze and they were working with West Mercia Police to find out the exact cause.

    The 28-year-old man on the orange bike was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Daisy-May Demetre, from Birmingham, was chosen to appear for Lulu et Gigi Couture, after its founder saw her modelling in London.

    Eni Hegedűs-Buiron said she would be the first double amputee child to walk in an official NYFW show.

    Daisy was born with fibular hemimelia which led to her legs being amputated.
