Millions of people who rely on cash will be left behind without urgent action from the government, Chancellor Sajid Javid has been warned.
Consumer association Which? said free-to-use cash machines were disappearing quicker in deprived areas than in affluent ones.
They include Birmingham Ladywood where 47 have gone.
Campaigners want Mr Javid to implement a cash guarantee for those who need it.
The industry network said that cash use was falling but work was being done to ensure nobody was left behind.

Firefighters are battling a severe fire in a derelict church in Coventry, external.
West Midlands Fire Service was called to the building in Edgwick at about 05:45 and said the roof was well alight.

Roman artefacts which experts believed for decades were pendants have been re-identified as make-up tools.
The tool sets, made from copper alloy, were found in Wroxeter, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire in the early 20th Century but it is unclear exactly when.
They were mistaken for "lunate pendants" when they were last examined in the 1970s because of a loop which allowed them to be carried on a cord.
But curator Cameron Moffett, from English Heritage, discovered the mistake while digitising a collection.
She said the pestle and mortar sets were "hugely important to understanding women" in Roman Britain.

A roundabout outside Telford's Princess Royal Hospital is going to be shut for several nights for resurfacing work.

Funding for the anti-bleed kits has been announced by West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson.
Fifty units were rolled out in Birmingham in June, with 350 more to be made available in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull and Coventry.
The move follows a campaign by Lynne Baird after her son, Daniel Baird, 26, was stabbed to death in the city in 2017.
