A man's been seriously hurt in a crash involving a car and a lorry in Shropshire, external.
They collided yesterday afternoon on the A41 near Whitchurch, West Mercia Police said.
The 60-year-old driver of the car was airlifted to hospital.

A police officer who was seriously hurt when he was run over by a stolen police car has been released from hospital after more than a month of treatment.
PC Gareth Phillips suffered potentially life-changing injuries when he was punched to the ground and hit by the car in Moseley, Birmingham, last month.
On Tuesday, West Midlands Police tweeted, external to say he would be recovering at home, adding "he’s still got a long battle ahead of him, and our thoughts remain with him and his family".
Earlier this month, Mubashar Hussain, 29, of no fixed address, admitted causing grievous bodily harm and was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing set for 15 October.

Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross is ahead of schedule as he recovers from a broken ankle, according to club coach Rory Delap.
Shawcross, 31, was hurt while making a sliding clearance in a pre-season friendly in July against Leicester.
Centre-back Shawcross, who won an England cap in 2012, has been with Stoke since the summer of 2007 and has played 414 times for the club.

No animals were hurt in the fire at Brockswood Animal Sanctuary in Dudley, but pictures show the damage with which staff were faced on Monday morning.
The sanctuary in Cotwell End is home to rescued pigs, sheep, ponies and other wildlife.
The fire destroyed an area it was developing into a "quiet corner" for visitors, including those on the autism spectrum, said manager Neil Swann.
A crowdfunding page has so far raised more than £1,200 to help, with local businesses and tradespeople also offering their services.
"A brewery has been in touch offering to brew a Brockswood pale ale, and we've had offers of CCTV," Mr Swann said.
"The help we've been offered is like a silver lining after the horrific attack."

The crew of a training vehicle for emergency service drivers was flagged down to help a schoolboy who'd been hit by a car this morning.
They provided assistance until an ambulance arrived.
It happened shortly after 08:00 on Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said following the "low-speed" crash, the boy was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-serious injuries.

One of three shopping centres bought by a council for £51m could be demolished in 12 months' time.
Shropshire Council leader Peter Nutting says the authority is aiming to flatten the Riverside centre in Shrewsbury.
He says the plan after that is to "use [the site] as temporary parking for when the multi-storey goes".
The authority bought Shrewsbury's Darwin, Pride Hill and Riverside centres in January 2018 but admitted in June their value had slipped to £11m less than the £51m it paid.
However, Mr Nutting said the council was making about £2.3m from the centres this year and it was about to start £4m of renovations to the Darwin site.
A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash.
Kulvinder Kaur, 52, was walking along Cavendish Road in Beechdale, Walsall, when she was struck by a car on 12 September.
Lewis Jukes, from High Street, Brownhills, is also accused of driving while disqualified, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, failing to report a collision and driving without insurance.
Additionally, the 20-year-old faces a charge of stealing a car earlier this month.
He's due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court later.

A city park is being dug up this week in the hope of finding the remains of a clay pipe factory.
Worcester was a centre for pipe-making for hundreds of years, according to the city council, external, with three manufacturers in the area in the 19th Century.
It said the largest was the Cripplegate works and the archaeological dig this week is at the park which bears the same name.
Experts and amateurs are taking part in the excavation and the council says people can watch the team in action and find out more at an open day on Saturday.
Two people were taken to hospital after a crash on the A44 in Docklow, Herefordshire, on Monday.
Six people in total were treated at the scene after the two-car crash that happened shortly before 22:00.
One man and a woman, both in their 20s, were taken to hospital in Hereford as a precaution, the ambulance service said.
Two former refugees have been awarded honarary degrees for their work in supporting migrants in the West Midlands.
Mohamed Mustafa (pictured right) and Arten Llazari have been awarded Honorary Doctorates in Science by the University of Wolverhampton in recognition of their work through their charity, the Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC).
Mohamed, from Iraq originally, and an alumni of the university, co-founded the RMC which is the region's biggest provider of such services.
Arten who was born in Albania and arrived in the UK in 1999 said he was "humbled" by the award.
"I didn't even know the name of the city before I arrived here and now it's such an important part of my life," he added.

PC Claire Bond, whose leg and kneecap were broken, punched drug dealer Gurajdeep Malhi in the face to stop him driving into runners taking part in the nearby race.
Mahli, 26, from Stafford, has been jailed for 12 years and 9 months.
