The former Wasps player James Haskell believes the players have benefited from doing less training this season.
He said because the games have been crammed into a few weeks since the restart it has meant "you don't have a million meetings" and he added "some of them are quite enjoying it".
Wasps are currently second in the Premiership table, so a win at leaders Exeter on Sunday in their final league game will secure them a play-off place.
And a bonus point win will guarantee them a home semi-final.
Quote MessageIt's not a sustainable model, I'm not advocating that, but it has been potentially quite an awakening for a lot of coaches and a lot of teams."
