Sandwell Council have warned people in Greets Green and Lyng and Newton areas of West Bromwich to be "extra cautious" as Covid-19 rates rise.
The rate of infection in Greets Green & Lyng ward is 108 per 100,000 people with 15 new cases in the last seven days.
In recent weeks Sandwell had one of the fastest falls of Covid-19 rates in the country.
Dr Lisa McNally, Sandwell’s director of public health, said: "There has been no single large outbreak - rather there has been a general rise in infections, with sometimes several cases within one household."

Jonny is out for Wolves after suffering a second ACL injury to his right knee in less than 12 months. The Portuguese defender is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the year.
"He is being assessed and deciding what surgery he is going to go with," said Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
"We need to make sure Jonny is strong and confident and has no doubts in his head.
"It's a big impact on him, he is a strong boy, very serious and he is aware what happened to him can happen to any player. He is confident because he recovered well from the first one."
The actor who plays rogue PC Ryan Pilkington says it was "so cold", but "so exciting to film".
Read MoreA flight took off from Birmingham Airport with incorrect weight calculations as female passengers using the title "Miss" were classified as children, an investigation has found.
The Tui flight to the Spanish island of Majorca last July was carrying 187 passengers, but the IT glitch led to 38 passengers being allocated a child's "standard weight" of 35kg instead of the correct figure of 69kg.
The error, described as a "serious incident" by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB), happened when an update was carried out on the airline's reservation system while its planes were grounded due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Take-off calculations stated that the Boeing 737 was more than 1,200kg lighter than it actually was, however, the thrust used for departure was only "marginally less" than it should have been, and the aircraft was not compromised, the AAIB said.
Investigators described the glitch as "a simple flaw" in an IT system which was programmed in an unnamed foreign country where the title "Miss" is used for a child and "Ms" for an adult female.
The same fault caused two other Tui flights to take off from the UK with inaccurate information later that day.
Tui said in a statement: "The health and safety of our customers and crew is always our primary concern.
"Following this isolated incident, we corrected a fault identified in our IT system."

Two more summer events have been called off because of the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
Ross Carnival was due to take place in August, but the volunteers who organise it said the ongoing restrictions have made it impossible and promised "a carnival like no other" next year.
Meanwhile, Wem Carnival wasn't due to take place until the first week in September, but its organising committee said it would be too difficult to comply with social distancing and the possibility of vaccination passports.

A bus lane has been removed following petitions signed by thousands of people in Birmingham.
The temporary 24-hour bus, cycle and taxi lane on the A38 Bristol Road South between Langleys Road in Selly Oak and Northfield town centre was brought in last summer as part of the council’s emergency transport plan.
But the lane proved contentious, with comments from residents describing it as "dangerous" and a "waste of resources".
Birmingham Northfield Conservative MP Gary Sambrook labelled the lane "crazy and unsafe".
Thousands signed petitions gathered by councillor Julie Johnson (Labour, Weoley and Selly Oak), a cabinet adviser on buses.
Birmingham City Council then held its own review into the bus lane and found 80% of respondents wanted it to go.
The authority is now exploring extending the "blue route" segregated cycle lane further south along the Bristol Road.
Councillor Simon Morrall (Conservative, Frankley Great Park Ward) said Labour installed the lane "without any public consultation".
Referencing the council’s consultation, Waseem Zaffar (Labour, Lozells), cabinet member for transport and environment, said: "I would like to thank everyone who made their voices heard during the review into the temporary measures that we brought in last year through the emergency transport plan."

Read MoreCoronavirus vaccination centres in Telford have closed, because they've run out of people to vaccinate.
Telford International Centre, which can vaccinate 10,000 people a day, has effectively been mothballed before the go ahead to treat the under-50s, Shaun Davies, Labour leader of Telford and Wrekin Council, said.
"Despite the slow start we were able to get the capacity into the local areas... which means we raced ahead of most parts of the country now in terms of vaccinating the over-50s," he said.
"Because of the resistance and reluctance from the government to allow local areas to move forward with the under-50s, we're now in a situation where we've effectively run out of people to vaccinate for first doses."
The council is continuing to work with the NHS and Mr Davies said he believed that the centres would be "turned back on" and able to vaccinate people again from the third week in April.
The 27-year-old victim died in hospital after being found at a house in Birmingham, police say.
