The Conservative Party has increased its majority at Wiltshire Council, securing 68 out of 98 seats.
The Liberal Democrats lost two seats, as well as its group leader, while Labour lost one of its four seats and UKIP lost its only one.
Turnout for the county-wide vote was nearly 40%, the council confirmed.
Meanwhile, Labour won two of the three controversial new parish councils in Swindon.

Former Lib Dem leader Paddy Ashdown admitted it was "a very good night for the Tories across Britain".
He said as predicted a new party had been born, called "Blue Kip", and "they're sweeping the board.
"I think many people in Britain are going to get worried the Conservatives are going to get such a large majority at the next election.
"That would not be good for Britain."

But there was a glimmer of hope for them in Wells - remember Tessa Munt's heartache two years ago when she was ousted as the city's MP?
She's now back as a councillor - having beaten the Somerset County Council leader, John Osman, by 95 votes.
The former Lib Dem leader, Paddy Ashdown, admitted "it wasn't as good a night as we'd wished".
After Forest Green Rovers' 1-1 draw last night in the National League play off semi-final, the tension is building for Sunday afternoon's second leg.

Conservative Tim Bowles won the post with 70,300 votes.
Turnout was 29.7%, with 199,519 voting out of a possible 671,280.

The body of a man found in Bristol's Floating Harbour has been formally identified as missing man Jason Gurgul.
The 33-year-old father-of-two was last seen in the early hours of 29 April during a night out in the city centre.
Avon and Somerset police divers recovered a body yesterday near Welsh Back.
An initial post-mortem examination indicates "no evidence of any suspicious circumstances", a police spokesman said.
England began their Champions Trophy preparations in style with an emphatic seven-wicket one-day win in their first home international match against Ireland.
In front of a near full house at the County Ground, the tourists fell apart after a good start, losing their last eight wickets for 45 as Adil Rashid's 5-27 helped dismiss them for 126.
Police in Wiltshire are being trained to use drones to help them when investigating crimes.
Some volunteer special constables are being shown how to use them as part of a new training trial launched today.
If it goes well, Wiltshire Police said "regular police officers" will also be trained in using the drones,with the aim of rolling it out across the whole force.
The body of a man found in the Floating Harbour in Bristol yesterday has been formally identified as missing Jason Gurgul, police have said this evening.
Jason was reported missing after failing to return home from a night out in Bristol last Friday.
Findings of an initial post mortem examination indicate there is no evidence of any suspicious circumstances in relation to his death.

With fan frustration writ large at the County Ground, a continuation of the status quo was pretty much impossible.
Lee Power has been open about the failure of the club's recruitment over the past year, and the interlude of Tim Sherwood being the pivotal figure at the training ground didn't really help Luke Williams either.
That said, questions remain over whether the style of play Williams was wedded to could both develop players for sale and get results in the nether regions of the EFL - both requirements of the job.
How much, or little control, his successor gets in the acquisition of new players could well define their fate.

As the Tory vote in Wiltshire increased, the current Leader of Wiltshire Council, Jane Scott, put their success down to "hard hard work", with the candidates "working their patches" for the past year.
She said the election had been a "two-horse race" between "us and the Liberal Democrats".
"It's going to be an interesting new council."

The club said it followed a review after the team was relegated to League Two.
"As a result, the football club and Luke Williams have mutually agreed to go their separate ways.
We would like to wish Luke the very best of luck for the future."

The unusual hog, named Burt, was admitted to the Secret World Wildlife Rescue at the end of September.
Burt, who was treated for ringworm, was due to be released in autumn but had "other plans", carer Trudi Howell said.
"He went into hibernation so spent the winter in our hedgehog hotel," she said. He has now been released at a secret location.

Isaac is white, has dark or auburn hair which is long on top, has a distinctive ear and lip piercing and two lines of Japanese writing tattooed on his wrist.
Police say anyone spotting him should call 999 immediately.
Anti-fracking slogans have been painted on the walls and doors of a bank in Bristol.
It's part of a series of protests by Rising Up which wants to "expose the role of Barclays Bank in environmental destruction and the wider toxic role banks play in social and climate injustice"..
In a statement Barclays confirmed it has a majority stake in Third Energy, "which has been drilling, developing and producing gas in the region for over 20 years, with an excellent environmental and safety record".
