The money will be used to help provide care packages for staff across the hospital as well as welfare packages to ensure staff have access to essential supplies.
Donations will also help staff to access specialist counselling and wellbeing support.
Sarah Harrison, director of Southmead Hospital Charity, said: “Thank you, we really appreciate your support at this very uncertain time.
"Coronavirus has become a term that we are now all familiar with, and it could impact any of us, our friends, families and our communities – at any time.
“That’s why we are asking members of the public to dig deep and donate to help your local community"

England and former Somerset cricketer, Jos Buttler, has put the shirt he wore in last summer's World Cup final victory up for auction to raise money to fight coronavirus.
The former county wicketkeeper is auctioning the shirt on eBay to support two specialist heart and lung centres dealing with the coronavirus response.
The shirt is signed by all the players from the England World Cup squad.

The annual Eat Drink Bristol Fashion event has been postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A statement from the organisers said: "Following the update from the mayor's office last week, announcing the cancellation of all outdoor events in Bristol until July and the rapidly evolving circumstances that we are currently all facing, it has become apparent that it is no longer viable to put on the event this year.
"The health and wellbeing of the Bristol community has to take priority over all else."
The event was due to take place the first weekend of May in Castle Park.
All tickets will be refunded.
Bristol's streets are currently deserted, thanks to people obeying the government's request to socially distance and remain indoors.
