"The effect the music was having on the people there - I'm very passionate about music for mental health and how beneficial it can be."

"The facts are at no point did we agree a fee with any football club for Luke Berry and the facts are that we turned down four bids for Luke Berry, and that's it."

Those are the words of Cambridge United chief executive Jez George, clarifying that the 24-year-old midfielder is going nowhere.

He had been heavily linked with a move to Hibernian this summer.

He came through the youth ranks at Cambridge and has made 237 appearances in all competitions, scoring 59 times in two spells at the club.

  5. U's news: Norris on his way to Wolvespublished at 12:06 British Summer Time 12 July 2017

    Peter Swan
    BBC Radio Cambridgeshire sport

In case you've missed it, there's some sad news to bring you from the Cambridge United camp.

Less than two years after breaking into the U's first team, goalkeeper Will Norris has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

He's one of the most highly rated young goalkeepers in English football and has raised his profile with a number of penalty saves, including two in one match against Accrington last October.

Jez George, the club's chief executive, said: "While we're disappointed he leaves us on the pitch, it's a fantastic opportunity for him and we've secured a really good deal for the club."

The transfer fee, while undisclosed, is understood to be the highest the U's have received in 17 years.

With Dimitar Mitov now the only goalkeeper on the books, manager Shaun Derry looks set to dip into the transfer market ahead of the start of the new season.

Have a listen to some of Norris's best moments...
