    "She helped with the rebuilding of the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary because the old original hospital was poisoning people," Mr Felix said. 

    "She's the forerunner of British nursing, she's an icon."

    A teenager has denied the murder of a man who died after being stabbed in Derby city centre.

    Tom Webb (pictured), 22, from Alvaston, died in hospital after being attacked in St Peter's Street on 19 January.

    The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to the murder of Mr Webb.

    A total of 13 people have been arrested and bailed in connection with Mr Webb's murder, Derbyshire Police said.

    Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has apologised for its handling of the Helen Marks case.

    It has acknowledged the payout was substantial and has apologised to Ms Marks and patients. 

    It has also said lessons were being learned from the case.

    The man behind Swadlincote TV has been telling listeners on BBC Radio Derby what they can expect from the new channel.

    Noel Wyatt said: "We're getting lots of kids coming to us saying they want to do gaming, where they do a programme in front of a green screen. 

    "You'll also learn a lot about Swadlincote area, because we have ex-miners who want to come in and do a piece, so it'll have a historical element as well as dramatic programming - we're already talking about doing a daytime soap".

    Swadlincote is to join the likes of Manchester, Nottingham and London in getting its own community TV channel. 

    Swadlincote TV will go live online next month.
