    The latest information on the Severn Trent Water chlorine problem, external is that customers in five postcode areas are affected.

    The firm's website lists them as DE11, DE15, DE65, DE73 and LE65 and everyone living there should not use their water supply.

    The company's stressed that residents shouldn't drink water, flush the toilet or have baths and shouldn't use it in food preparation.

    An appeal by Derbyshire Police over a woman whose been missing for a month has been shared hundreds of times online, external.

    Anne Collinson, 62, from Repton, travelled to Darwin in Australia before taking a flight to Adelaide from Alice Springs.

    The force's appeal for information has been shared more than 1,800 times on Facebook.

    Derbyshire Police said officers in Australia have spoken to a lady who gave her name as Anne Robinson on the number the force holds for Miss Collinson.

    A senior care home manager has told a court that they could not foresee the accident that resulted in an elderly resident being found dead under a wardrobe that fell on top of her.

    Derby Crown Court heard that there were no industry-wide regulations for fastening furniture to walls or for checking the personal activity monitors. 

    The care home partnership which owns the home at Milford denies two health and safety at work charges, following the death of 80-year-old Thomasina Bennett.

    Severn Trent Water's website has crashed because of demand for information about the water ban in south-east Derbyshire.

    The firm has changed the areas affected to DE11, DE65 and DE73 - covering 3,555 properties.

    It says the chlorine problem is at Castle Donington reservoir, where a monitoring systems alarm went off to alert staff.

    Rachel Hambridge posted: "When I emptied my bath I was left with like a red brick stain that was difficult to remove, had to use bleach."

    Lindsay Hammond asked: "What happens if you have had a drink of water or had water out of the tap today? Bit worried now."

    Severn Trent Water says it's not sure yet what's caused the water supply for customers in south-east Derbyshire and north-west Leicestershire to register a higher level of chlorine than usual.

    A company spokesman said: "Clearly we do use chlorination as part of the normal everyday activities that we do at our reservoirs to make sure there's a great quality of water coming out.

    A Severn Trent Water spokesman has told BBC Radio Derby: "The issue is that we normally add chlorine as part of our normal everyday work at the reservoir to make sure the water is fine for everyone, but we think that there might be a problem with over-chlorination.

    "Just to reiterate nobody should use the water at all, so don't use it to flush the toilet, don't use it to drink, don't use it to prepare vegetables, don't use it to wash, nothing at all until we give the go-ahead to actually start using it again."

    The firm says: "We’re sorry for the inconvenience this will cause and we’re working hard to isolate the problem and get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.

    The warning affects anyone living in the DE11, DE73 and LE65 postcode areas. 

    Severn Trent Water issued the instruction as a precaution while it investigates a problem with higher than normal levels of chlorine at one of its service reservoirs in the Derbyshire area.

    The authority targets its tests towards those which might have problems.

    Police received about 40 calls following a Crimewatch appeal, external about an unsolved Derby rape case.

    Det Ch Insp Dave Cox, from Derbyshire Police, said there were several lines of inquiry for officers to follow up from the calls to the studio.

    He said: “I would like to encourage the public to contact us with any information they may have in relation to this terrifying incident.
