    This is the former home of one of Nottingham's most famous families, Lenton House, which was where the Boots family lived till 1946...

    This bottle of paracetamol has a use-by date of November 1991 and surprisingly the glass container (pictured below) is a baby's milk bottle

    They're from the Boots archive, which you'll be able to snoop through from today.

    The company's created an online resource to display 20,000 items, including pictures, products, letters and magazines to help people explore its past.

    It's the first stage of a four-year project.

    Candles were lit and flowers laid in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, last night at a vigil for the victims of the Manchester attack.

    Dozens of people gathered in the town centre.

    Organiser, Richard MacRae, said he felt "broken" by the news as it unfolded yesterday.

    "We need to bring people together we need to be united we're not going to tolerate these things," he said.

  5. Ex-Foxes boss Ranieri 'would take another English job'published at 08:55 British Summer Time 24 May 2017

    Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has admitted he is eager to return to management and would lead another side in England.

    The Italian has been without a managerial job since being sacked by the Foxes in February, less than a year after leading the club to the Premier League title.

    "I'm very stimulated to make another great season," the 65-year-old told Sky Sports News.

    He added: "I feel as well a European coach. Italy, Spain, France, England for me is okay."

    Ranieri has been linked with the vacant managerial posts at Watford and Crystal Palace.

    A fine dining restaurant on Sadler Gate in Derby has been handed a food hygiene rating of one after inspectors found staff had re-labelled food to make it last longer.

    A fridge at Restaurant Zest contained raw and cooked meat as well as out-of-date steak and ham.

    The restaurant's been ordered to improve its procedures.

    The owners have blamed a member of staff for the failings and says they've been dismissed.

    A Leicester florist has backed a call by the National Farmers Union (NFU) for cut flowers to be labelled with their country of origin to enable customers to buy British.

    Richard Turner, from the Flower Company in Leicester, said: "People are now asking about provenance and they do like the story and they like to understand that.

    "We are certainly coming into the summer season now, there'll be more British products available and there will be a spot designated within the shopping area which will say 'English grown'."

    Police want to speak to him in connection with reports young girls were approached and asked to engage in sexual activity.

    It happened in Kirkby-in-Ashfield town centre on Sunday afternoon.

    The man is described, external as Eastern European and aged about 40.

    A man's been charged over a stabbing outside a bar in Nottingham.

    A 43-year-old man was injured in the back at Friends and Flames on Alfreton Road in Radford at around 03:00 on Saturday 13 May.

    A 37-year-old man from St Ann's is accused of affray, wounding and possessing an offensive weapon.

    He's been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court next month.
