  15. Let managers use VAR, says Magpies boss Nolanpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2018

    BBC Sport

The introduction of video assistant referees (VARs) in last week's FA Cup replays was a bit of a mixed bag, but Notts County manager Kevin Nolan supports the introduction of technology.

To help match officials, though, the Magpies boss has an innovative idea - let managers challenge big decisions.

Nolan won't get a chance to test out his theory any time soon, but he will be in charge as his second-placed side aim to bounce back from defeat against Exeter City with a win at home to Crawley Town tonight.

    Quote Message

Give managers a flag to say we want something reviewing. That stops the game right away. What it will do is tell the referee that he got something that he's seen spot on and that will give him a confidence boost, or they will go 'fair enough you have seen something different, so let's have a look at it'."
