A teenager from Nottingham is to appear in court today on terror offences accused of being a member of a banned far-right group.

The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, is due before Westminster Magistrates' Court later, alongside two men from Birmingham.

They're accused of belonging to the group National Action. It follows a series of police raids across the country last week.

A vigil took place in Derby last night in memorial of 18-year-old Betty Wood who died after a car crash in the city.

The crowd gathered at the junction of Friar Gate and Stafford Street - close to the spot where the car Betty was travelling in collided with another vehicle.

Tributes were also left on the pavement including flowers, candles and photos.

Betty was a passenger in a Renault Clio that collided with a Mercedes E320 just after 01:00 on Sunday.

She was airlifted to hospital but did not survive the injuries she sustained. The drivers of both cars were arrested at the scene and released while the investigation continues.

Harleigh Rose Robinson was born 15 weeks early along with her twin brother Jax who is still receiving specialist support in hospital.

Their father Shaun told the BBC the birth was both an awful and brilliant experience. The twins immediately received emergency treatment but at one point they were separated at different hospitals in different cities - Harleigh in Leicester and Jax in Nottingham.

Eventually the brother and sister were reunited at Nottingham City Hospital but Harleigh's condition deteriorated and she died.

Shaun said Jax has had his "ups and downs" but is already "a little character".

As well as spending time by his bedside they're planning a funeral for Harleigh. Shaun said: "We just want to send her out in the best way possible. A little princess, which is what she is.

"It's difficult financially. I'm self employed so I get no holiday pay, no paternity pay, which is what the JustGiving page was set up for."
