    Nearly 100 students were moved at around 01:00 BST after water affected four floors of the Orbital apartments in Canning Circus, Nottingham.

    Richard Keenan, 23, has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years after he admitted causing the death of his wife by dangerous driving.

    Lizzie Keenan, 30, was killed when the Vauxhall Corsa she was travelling in crashed in Derby Road, Chellaston, on 20 August.

    Mr Keenan, of Hartshill Road, Swadlincote, also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and driving above the legal alcohol limit.

    Police are calling for help to locate prisoner Grant Walker who has absconded from HMP Sudbury.

    The 27-year-old, who was serving a sentence for conspiracy to commit armed robbery, is described as white, 6ft 1ins tall, of medium build with short brown hair.

    He has a tattoo on his upper right arm.

    He has links to Derby, Dudley and West Bromwich.

    A man is due to appear before magistrates in Leicester, charged with assaulting a police officer on Monday.

    The 22-year-old from London was charged with assaulting a police officer, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

    He was also charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.

    The single-car crash in which Lizzie Keenan died happened in Derby Road, Chellaston, at about 03:10 on Monday 20 August.

    Her husband Richard Keenan, who was also injured in the crash, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving two days later.

    Derbyshire Police said officers who attended the scene had been offered specialist support to deal with the "very distressing incident".

    Mr Keenan admitted the offence and three others at Derby Crown Court this morning.

    A man who drove his son to school while he was disqualified from driving has been charged by police and remanded to prison.

    Thomas Crump, from Park Street in Newhall, dropped his son off at Fairmeadows Primary School on 21 September.

    The 39-year-old was arrested and charged with several driving offences including driving while disqualified. His car was also seized.

    He has since appeared at Derby Magistrates' Court and was remanded to prison until he is sentenced at the crown court on 12 October.

    A man has admitted causing death by dangerous driving after killing his wife in a crash in Derby.

    Lizzie Keenan, 30, was a passenger in Richard Keenan's car when it crashed in Derby Road, Chellaston last month.

    Campaigners say the fight to save the Battle of Bosworth site from development isn't over.

    Last night councillors voted in favour of allowing a test track for driverless cars to be built on part of the site where Richard III was killed.

    The Japanese company Horiba Mira claim building on the 27-acre site near Higham-on-the-Hill would create about 1,000 jobs.

    Sally Henshaw from the Richard III Society said: "I'm not sure what the next step is. We'll have to consult with the other interested parties like The Battlefields Trust but I don't think it's quite over yet."
