A man has been jailed after a burglary which saw teenagers assaulted and threatened with knives and an axe in their home.
Police say that in March 2018, the occupants of a house in Archery Close, Countesthorpe, answered the door to 22-year-old Jason Mumford, who followed them into the house.
Within seconds, up to six more people came in with their faces covered and threatened the people in the house with knives and an axe before stealing items.
Yesterday, Mumford, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary at Leicester Crown Court and was jailed for six years.
The other people involved remain unidentified and police are still investigating.

Outdoor film viewings and live music performances could remain a regular occurrence for years to come in a Heanor park.
Heanor Traders Association, now renamed as Heanor Vision, has pitched an application to Amber Valley Borough Council for a premises licence on Heanor Memorial Park. If approved the community group would be able to host up to nine live music and outdoor film events in the park each year.
Film screenings could run from 19:00 until midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and bank holiday Sundays and Mondays. Live and recorded music would be allowed from 09:00 until 19:00 on the same range of days.
This follows the success of two outdoor film viewings last year, hosted by the group, which saw more than 400 people flock to watch the Rocky Horror Show and The Greatest Showman in the open air.

The chair of the Doctors’ Association UK has said the verdict on Dr Hadiza Bawa-Garba was welcome but was "no cause of celebration".
Dr Samantha Batt-Rawden said there were "no winners" in the case but restoring Dr Bawa-Garba to the medical register was "the right outcome".
"I have no doubt that Dr Hadiza Bawa-Garba will now be the safest doctor in the hospital, and as a doctor and a mother I would have no hesitation in allowing her to treat my child,” she added.
A tribunal has determined that a raft of conditions be imposed on her registration for 24 months from the end of July when her 12-month suspension ends.

A paediatrician who was convicted of the manslaughter of a six-year-old boy has been told she will be able to return to work, but only under close supervision.
Dr Hadiza Bawa-Garba was suspended from working following a conviction for the gross negligence manslaughter of Jack Adcock, who died from undiagnosed sepsis at Leicester Royal Infirmary in 2011.
A medical disciplinary tribunal ruled that Dr Bawa-Garba can resume work - although at a lower grade than she was previously employed at - once she returns from maternity leave in February 2020.

A man who had to be tasered when he was arrested has been jailed for knife and drug offences.
Perry Mason, 28, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a bladed article and to possession of cannabis with intent to supply and was sentenced to a total of two years and nine months today at Nottingham Crown Court.
Police say Mason, of no fixed address, was first found in possession of a knife when his car was stopped in Portland Road, Nottingham, on 22 August 2017.
On 6 June last year, police say they found just over 24g of cannabis, digital weighing scales, a mobile phone and £1,700 in cash when they carried out a search warrant at his former home in Portland Road.

They found this large hunting knife in his possession.
