Firefighters remain on the scene at a blaze at a waste disposal facility in Nottingham involving 200 tonnes of rubbish.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said they are using two main jets on the fire near Lady Bay Bridge and expect to be there for a “long time”.
The fire started at about 16:15 yesterday.
Plumes of smoke from the Veolia site on Freeth Street could be seen across the city.
