England fans who gathered to watch the Euro 2020 final at a Nottinghamshire pub have reacted with disappointment and pride after their team lost to Italy on penalties.
About 350 supporters watched the action play out on a large screen in the car park of The White Horse in Ruddington.
"I'm absolutely devastated but you know what, on a serious note, the fact that we've gone to a final, that's a stepping stone," fan Tom Stanley said.
"As a nation it [the tournament] has been electrifying. Obviously with Covid and everything that's happened, it's lifted the country massively."
Tom Wilson added: "The experience for England over the past two weeks has been terrific. It's been great for the pubs, it's been great for the people and it's just great for everyone that we got to the final."
Sam Watkins said: "It [the result] is what it is at the end of the day. England supporters all come together which is one of the best things.
"I was in London earlier this week and I was going to stay down there but I decided to come back [to Ruddington] to watch the game here because I know the atmosphere is great."

A man was injured when he was hit with a sword during a brawl in Nottinghamshire.
Officers were called to The Crescent area of Stapleford at 17:30 on Saturday to reports of a man with a machete.
Police found a man with a samurai-style sword who had attacked two others after they were seen to be smashing objects outside his house.
Blows were reported to have been struck on the victims' heads, necks and chest, officers said.
Three men, aged 32, 36 and 43 were arrested at the scene.
Police said the sword proved to have been blunt and the only injury was a cut to an ear.
Overcast throughout, with patchy outbreaks of rain or scattered showers for many.
The showers will be heavy and slow-moving, bringing some locally heavy downpours with highs of 19C.
