Devon & Cornwall Police has been criticised for failing to share intelligence on organised crime in the South West.
Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary found they were among just a handful of forces to maintain their own confidential intelligence unit, rather than joining regional collaborations.
The force said they had excellent networks for sharing intelligence and would join the regional unit next year.
