A fine evening with some late spells of sunshine, however, it will cloud over through the early hours, with some patchy light rain by dawn for some, especially towards northern coasts such as in Bideford.
Another mild night and a minimum temperature of 14C (57F).
Saturday will see a cloudy start to the weekend with patchy light rain across the county. This will gradually ease through the afternoon.
The maximum temperature will be 21C (70F).

A taxi driver has been jailed for sexually assaulting a teenager in his car.

Prosecutors said the teenager feared she would be "raped and killed". Mia, who admitted sexual assault, was jailed for 15 months and put on the Sex Offenders’ register for ten years.

The Hall for Cornwall in Truro has been awarded cash to push forward with major redevelopment proposals.
The entertainments venue has been awarded more than £200,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to develop its bid for a full grant of more than £2.5m.

A CCTV image has been released by police of missing Bulgarian woman Gergana Prodonova talking on her phone on 4 August.
The 38-year-old was last seen in a food shop in Sidwell Street, Exeter, at about 20:00.

Totnes town centre "could accommodate 30 houses" according to a planning professor at Plymouth University.
Image source, GoogleMore than 1,300 residents of the 14th Century market town have signed a petition, external to fight plans for its development, saying Totnes would be "destroyed" as a result.
Professor Chris Balch, himself a Totnes resident, says people there have been given "poor information" about the plans, and that the town could accommodate some development.
"It would not be impossible to think about that scale of housing accommodated in the town centre in a sensitive way."

An investigation has been launched after two people had a narrow escape from a light aircraft which crashed at Perranporth Airfield and burst into flames.
The crash happened on Thursday and fire crews from across the county were called to deal with the plane, which had skidded off the runway and into long grass where it caught fire.
The man and woman who had been on board the plane were treated at the scene and sent to hospital to be checked over.

Two men in charge of a boat carrying cocaine worth more than half a billion pounds have been jailed for a total of 42 years.
Mumin Sahin, 47, and Emin Ozmen, 51, from Turkey, were caught after the MV Hamal was stopped in the North Sea east of Aberdeen in April last year.
It was intercepted by the Devonport-based Royal Navy warship HMS Somerset and Border Force officials.

A paediatrician has appeared in court charged with making and distributing indecent images of children.
Image source, Nick IrvingJonathan Walsh, aged 46 of Barnstaple, is accused of 7 counts of making and 10 counts of distributing the images between January 2014 and last August.
He was dismissed in June by Northern Devon Healthcare Trust (NDHT) after his arrest last year but it is understood that none of the charges relate to patients at the North Devon District Hospital. Mr Walsh has been bailed and will enter his pleas when he returns to Exeter Crown Court on 9 September.
Cornwall Council is offering advice, external on how to avoid being caught in delays on the A30 bottleneck at Bodmin Moor this summer as work to dual the road between Carblake and Temple continues.
It says during peak times drivers can expect delays from anywhere between 10 minutes and two hours along the stretch where the dual carriageway reduces to one lane.
For vehicles heading out of Cornwall eastbound between now and Sunday 4 September two lanes will be open to ease the flow.
