    Truro City boss Lee Hodges says he is "angry" after his side suffered another second-half collapse as they lost 4-2 at Ebbsfleet in National League South.

    Niall Thompson's goal just before half-time made it 1-1 at the break, but the White Tigers conceded three times in 10 minutes to go 4-1 down before Andrew Neal's late consolation goal.

    "I'm so angry as I felt we could have seen it out," Hodges told BBC Cornwall. "It would have been a fantastic performance."

    The loss was Truro's fifth game without a win - they have now won just once in their last nine league and cup matches.

    A knife amnesty has been announced by Devon and Cornwall Police to give people the opportunity to safely hand in potentially dangerous weapons.  

    The initiative has been prompted by recent legislation banning the sale or importation of  so-called "zombie knives".

    The amnesty for people to turn in the "shocking" knives with serrated edges and other unwanted knives, will run from 15 to 21 November.

    Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Torquay on Friday in which a 76-year-old man was critically injured.

    The crash, involving a black Vauxhall Agila, a grey Citroen Berlingo and a multi-coloured Mercedes skip lorry, happened about 14:30 on Beechfield Avenue.

    A £3m centre for cancer patients and their families opens in Cornwall today.

    The Cove MacMillan Support Centre, external offers private rooms, a café and services including hair loss support and nutritional advice.

    Much of the money for the centre at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, external, which is expected to be used by about 13,000 people a year, has been donated by the public.
