Two men have been cut free from their car after it plunged off a road on to Porth Beach near Newquay.

The driver, in his 40s, was airlifted to hospital with head and neck injuries.

    Quote Message

It could have been a lot worse for the occupants of the vehicle, but it could have been a lot worse for any pedestrians that could have been walking along, or dog walkers. There was a pavement there and there was a path off the beach, so I think we are very fortunate there were no pedestrians nearby that could have been hit by the vehicle.
