  1. Fuel spillage and collapsed manhole cause delays on A30published at 08:35 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2017

    • On the A30 between the Boxheater Junction and Carland Cross there are temporary traffic lights due to a fuel spillage, collapsed manhole and repair work. Traffic is slow moving in both directions with longs queues westbound back to Mitchell
    • We've also got reports one lane is blocked between Fraddon and Summercourt due to a broken-down bus which is adding to the delays in the area
    • At Bodmin on the A30 westbound one lane is blocked at Innis Downs due to a broken-down lorry and recovery work
    • In Plymouth on the A38 Parkway heading between Forder Valley and Manadon there's slow traffic
    • In Barnstaple on the A39 North Road there are temporary traffic lights and roadworks by the North Devon District Hospital. Traffic is slow moving
    • On the A376 from Exmouth heading towards Exeter there's very slow moving traffic

    A teenager is due in court charged with murdering a 47-year-old man in Exeter. 

    Delton Jones, 19, of Burleigh Mews, Liverpool, is charged with murdering fellow Liverpudlian Jonathan Povey on 17 March. 

    Police were called to Bridge Court in Exeter by ambulance staff just before 01:50 last Friday. 

    Mr Povey was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Mr Jones was remanded in custody by Exeter Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and will appear before a judge at Exeter Crown Court later.

    Kevin French poses as a nude life model to explain more about his disability. 

    The 53-year-old has severe cerebral palsy and a speech problem and communicates through an iPad by using his nose or a head-pointer. 

    He was the first severely disabled person to do a dance theatre BA degree at Plymouth University and is studying for a masters in performance training.

    Poor mobile phone coverage is leaving too many rural people in the Dark Ages, according to a South West MP. 

    Conservative Neil Parish is holding a debate at Westminster later amid claims the region has the worst mobile coverage in the UK after Wales - affecting businesses and tourism. 

    He wants a £5bn government deal with the telecoms industry to cover 90% of the UK by the end of this year, to be extended to 100%.
