    BBC Radio Cornwall

There have been more incidents of failing standards by the private company that took over cleaning and catering - or hotel services - at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.

It's led to private company Mitie losing more than two-thirds of its fees in the second half of last year. That went up from just over half of its profits the previous year.

Its contract at Cornwall's acute hospitals near Truro, in Hayle and in Penzance is worth £90m.

Mitie said it had introduced new action plans since the failures which it said were already making an impact.
