Captain Heather Knight looks forward to the Ashes as England become world number one.
England captain Heather Knight says the country's rise to the top of the world rankings shows how far the team have come.
Knight, who was born in Plymouth, was back in her home town helping schoolchildren learn the game.
England moved above Australia following their World Cup win this summer and the two sides face one another for the Ashes later this year, with England hoping to reclaim the title Australia won two years ago.

A former European swimming champion and Olympian has lent her support to a group of swimmers from Cornwall who face not being be able to go to a training camp in the Canary Islands after Monarch Airlines went into administration.
The group of 58 from the North Cornwall Dragons were due to go to Fuerteventura at the end of the month. Coaches said they were not sure what would happen now. The group had bought tickets costing about £20,000.
International butterfly champion Jemma Lowe said it was "devastating for these kids".
She said: "It’s terrible this has happened to them because of the flights. I really hope the swimmers get to keep this opportunity and dream."

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has been nominated for the League Two Manager of the Month award.
Tisdale, who won August's award, guided the Grecians to five wins from their seven games in September, and are level at the top of League two.
Tisdale is up against Notts County manager Kevin Nolan, Accrington Stanley's John Coleman and Coventry City's Mark Robins.

A man who had two alloy car wheels stolen has had them recovered by police after he posed as a possible buyer when he found them for sale online, police say.
Totnes Police said on Facebook, external that that "rather nice" wheels were stolen from a driveway in the Follaton area "a number of days ago" before being spotted by the victim for sale on Ebay.
Officers said: "Posing as a buyer, the seller was contacted and an address obtained. Officers from Totnes attended an address in Paignton where the wheels were recovered."
The wheels were returned to their rightful owner and two males were assisting officers with enquiries, they added.
A businessman from Cornwall has been disqualified from driving after being caught driving a hire car at 125mph.
Forty-nine-year-old Andrew Jarvis was caught by a manned camera on a road with a 70mph speed limit near Okehampton in Devon in May, Truro Magistrates' Court heard.
The director of the Falmouth Estates Management Company, based at Tregothnan Estate, near Truro, pleaded guilty and was disqualified for 28 days.
Jarvis, from Eglosmerther, Tresillian, was also ordered to pay a fine of £650, along with costs of £85 and a £65 victim surcharge.
The court heard he had already been on a driver improvement course and was pursuing an advanced driver course.
A housing scheme that could bring 100 homes to a small town has met with opposition, external for the second time after the town council questioned its size and its viability.
A Devon lifeguard has been given an award for bravery after risking his own life to rescue a bodyboarder.
Freddie Hedger left his rescue board to swim to the woman who was unconscious in large surf at Croyde.
He kept the woman afloat until a rescue craft came to help.
The award has come from national maritime charity the Shipwrecked Mariners' Society.

Refugees in Greece are set to benefit from a specially-made wooden yurt thanks to man in Devon who's led a community project to make the shelter.
The yurt, by Toby Fairlove from Dartington, has been weeks in the making. The frame is made of ash, sweet chestnut and hazel, all gathered in Devon.
It will be driven to the Pikpa Camp on Lesvos and will be used as a classroom.

A man has been shot with what is believed to be a BB gun in St Austell, police say.
Officers said officers were called to reports of an assault on a man on East Hill at about 19:00 on Monday when the victim was "allegedly hit with a BB gun".
An investigation is under way.
Husky-type hounds savaged and killed sheep in front of terrified schoolchildren and teachers, external - and police are hunting for the dog owners.
Investigators say the two dogs sunk their teeth into the sheep as the school party, at the adventure and climbing centre outside Dewerstone Cottage at Goodameavy, near Roborough, watched.

Image source, GoogleAlternatives are being sought for a day centre for the elderly in Truro which it is to close, Age UK says.
The closure of the centre was confirmed on Monday after letters were sent out to users last week.
The charity said the decision followed a review and it was "asking the people who currently use our services and our staff and volunteers to help us test out new ideas, venues and opportunities".
Alternative venues which could be considered included "cafes, clubs, pubs, and community centres", it said.
It added: "We hope to have several up and running in the next few weeks and welcome any thoughts, offers of support and help to achieve this."

A Devon council committee is to hold a special meeting next week to consider a report, external about East Devon District Council refusing a planning application for a 113-apartment assisted living community for older people on the site of its offices at Knowle in Sidmouth.
Pegasus Life is appealing against the refusal last December.
The council said its Development Management Committee was to discuss a report from planning officers who recommend the council "no longer defends the refusal of planning permission at the appeal on the grounds of loss of light to neighbouring properties"
Pegasus Life is due to appeal against the ruling at a five-day public inquiry in November.
