    In Newton Abbot, at the Penn Inn roundabout, there's very slow traffic on Shaldon Road and St Marychurch Road due to a traffic light problem.

    An 80-year-old pedestrian being seriously injured after being hit by a motorbike in Falmouth is being investigated by police.

    Devon and Cornwall Police said the local man was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth after the accident on the A39 at Dracaena Avenue on Saturday night.

    Officers were called at about 23:55, and would like to talk to anyone with information.

    A scheme that gives first-time offenders the chance to avoid a police record - and turn their life around - has been taken up by more than 80 people across Devon and Cornwall in its first three months.

    The Pathfinder initiative, external can be offered to people brought into custody for things like public order offences and criminal damage.

    Instead of a caution, they can enter a contract agreeing not to re-offend, to work with agencies to address personal issues and do voluntary work, managers said.

    Victims also have to agree.
