    BBC Spotlight

The case of a Devon-born businessman who died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Ukraine could be looked at in a High Court trial - if his widow's request is granted.

Barry Pring died in Kiev nearly 10 years ago in February 2008, when he and his wife Ganna Ziuzina were trying to hail a taxi home after a meal celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

His family, who live in the Tiverton area, have accused Ms Ziuzina of taking part in a pre-arranged conspiracy or contract killing.

A judgement could grant a High Court trial which would give Ms Ziuzina a chance to clear her name and get a share of Mr Pring's £2m estate which has been frozen because of the suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
